Poor Boy's Game

Zehn Jahre, nachdem er einen schwarzen Teenager zum Krüppel schlug, kommt Donnie aus dem Gefängnis frei und kehrt zurück ins irische Viertel von Halifax, wo sich seit seinem Abschied wenig geändert hat. George, der Vater von Donnies Opfer, erwägt vorübergehend, ihn zu erschießen, entschließt sich dann aber zur allseitigen Überraschung, ihn lieber zu trainieren, als Donnie von dem amtierenden schwarzen Boxchamp heraus gefordert wird in der erkennbaren Absicht, ihm gravierende Schäden zu verpassen.
