Dann wird jedoch Sally, die Mutter der Kinder, tot aufgefunden. Die Polizei vermutet zunächst einen Selbstmord. Witwer Bill trauert nicht lange und umgarnt Michelle. Doch dann verdichten sich Anzeichen, dass Sally einem Mord zum Opfer fiel. Außerdem wird bekannt, dass sie eine Affäre hatte.
Babysitterin Michelle wird in ein Netz aus Lügen verstrickt und plötzlich ist sie die Hauptverdächtigte.
