Ballers

Die halbstündige HBO-Comedy Ballers beschreibt das Leben mehrerer ehemaliger und aktiver professioneller Footballspieler, ihren Agenten und Coaches und spielt im sonnigen Florida. Das ist die Heimat von Spencer Strassmore (Dwayne Johnson), der sein Trikot gegen feine Anzüge tauscht und nun Football-Agent wird. Dabei muss er einige neue Klienten akquirieren, was gar nicht so einfach ist. Unterstützt wird er von Joe (Rob Corddry, der ein Vollblutprofi ist, aber gerne Mal in das ein oder andere Fettnäpfchen steigt.

Ballers is a half-hour comedy series starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Looking at the lives of former and current football players, the show follows former superstar Spencer Strasmore as he gets his life on track in retirement while mentoring other current and former players through the daily grind of the business of football.
