Als wäre das Leben als alleinerziehende Frau nicht schon anstrengend genug, muss sich eine Mutter aus Delaware (Aubrey Plaza) auch noch mit dem Vater ihrer Teenager-Tochter (Lucy DeVito) herumschlagen: dem Teufel (Danny DeVito).
