In Naruto Shippuden sehen sich Naruto und Sasuke nach drei Jahren endlich wieder. Naruto hat extreme Fortschritte gemacht und ist zu einem sehr guten und coolen Ninja geworden. Allerdings ist Sasuke unter dem Training von Orochimaru unglaublich stark geworden. Er besitzt ein Schwert, kann das Chidori über seinen ganzen Körper spannen und ist so schnell, dass man ihn nicht mehr mit den Augen verfolgen kann.
